Ram is on the Boards of three companies, where he brings his expert knowledge and global experience to enhance their effectiveness, help them grow substantially, and prepare them for the next stage of their journey. This usually ends with the firms going in for an IPO, gaining increased relevance through contiguous expansion into adjacencies of their business, or simply raising increased leveraged financing through debt instruments.
His expertise in HR and International HR enables him to help his clients expand their business interests overseas, and to help them navigate international business practices, norms and culture. In many instances he has helped them find and appoint their overseas sales and business development people.
Ram many times acts as the conscience of the Board, and carries out the self-evaluation of the Board's processes and of the effective networking among Board members.
He is available to take up further Independent Directorships, or to act as an external pulse to evaluate Board Effectiveness for any company — in line with the Companies Act, 2013 and international best practices for corporate governance.
